Despite all the love I’m giving to Sea town, I’m from 845 in upstate NY. And we gots rappers here too. Cans is from Poughkeepsie and the dude can straight up spit. DJ Tecumseh just sent me this gem from B-Boy and MC, Orbitron. Both Tecumseh and Seattle producer Alonzo (from what I understand) lay down the beats for Orbitron on his debut LP, B-Boy Universal. Check out that album, this dude can spit, he rhymes so fluidly over the beats. This song is some fire, Seattle bringing the heat daaaamn.

Can’t Stop Rockin’ was the intro track to Jemini’s Scars & Pain EP (he used to be known as Jemini The Gifted One). This is a promo tape for the track, with 5 different versions of the song. I’m inclined to say it’s a vinyl rip because of the quality, but this is some really rare shit so I’m sure you’ll like it.

Diverse hails from Chicago, and is signed on Chocolate Industries (The Cool Kids label). His album ‘One A.M.’ was a gem, and his upcoming album (Round About) and mixtape (The Standard) should be some shit, although way past due. He’s got one of the most intelligent flows with the rhymes to match. Here’s a remix of Ain’t Right, done by DJ Mitsu. Much chiller than his Certified or Uprock (two best cuts on One A.M. in my opinion), but this is still pretty sick.
