Jemini: Can’t Stop Rockin’ Promo

without comments

Jemini The Gifted One

Jemini The Gifted One

Can’t Stop Rockin’ was the intro track to Jemini’s Scars & Pain EP (he used to be known as Jemini The Gifted One). This is a promo tape for the track, with 5 different versions of the song. I’m inclined to say it’s a vinyl rip because of the quality, but this is some really rare shit so I’m sure you’ll like it.

1. Can’t Stop Rockin’ [Radio Mix]
2. Can’t Stop Rockin’ [Fat Laces Mix]
3. Can’t Stop Rockin’ [Goldfingers Remix]
4. Can’t Stop Rockin’ [Clean]
5. Can’t Stop Rockin’ [Suede Pumas Mix]

Danger Mouse & Jemini: Twenty Six Inch EP

without comments

Here’s another EP from the Ghetto Pop Life album. The combo of Danger Mouse & Jemini is just so natural sounding haha. Some of my favorite music, as you can tell since they comprise like half the posts on this blog haha. 3 of the tracks are remixes from Ghetto Pop Life, and the other 3 were new tracks. Got some of Jemini’s solo stuff on deck, stay tuned…

Danger Mouse: From Man to Mouse

without comments

Brian Burton probably hates me. I’d say he would send the RIAA after me, but he’d be a damn hypocrite haha. But that’s what he gets for putting Kill Your Heroes on hold (the second full length from Jemini and Danger Mouse that seems like it will never happen) for shit like Sparklehorse and stuff. But here’s some more from the Mouse himself, a compilation vinyl rip with remixes, some of his old stuff from when he went by the alias Pelican City (and made trip hop), Murs, MF Doom, Tha Alkaholiks and more.

A really rare promo from Jemini, some of his best tracks in my opinion. Enjoy… (I have no idea where the clean version as shown on the album image is, I just grabbed that picture off Google)

Jemini: Scars & Pain EP

without comments

A 1995 release by Jemini (formerly known as Jemini the Gifted One, a damn fitting name if I say so myself), way before Danger Mouse teamed up with him to produce The Ghetto Pop Life in 2003. This is for sure one of those albums from the 1990’s that represented what hip hop was all about. Unfortunatly for Jemini, this shit barely saw the light of day. But I’m bringing it back for you, enjoy.

Scars & Pain EP

Danger Mouse & Jemini: The Ghetto Pop Mix

without comments

This was a promo tape for The Ghetto Pop Life (in my opinion one of the greatest rap albums of all time), with unreleased freestyles from Jemini, remixes, snippets from Jemini’s ‘Scars and Pain EP’ (which I’ll put up soon enough), and samples of tracks from Ghetto Pop Life. The remixed Suzanne Vega and Nas tracks at the end of the tape were on Danger Mouse’s promo CDs (which I’ll also be blessing yall with soon enough).

Since this was a mixtape, it was originally one long track. I split it into 16 for you, to make it easier on the iPods and all that shit. I included the original, 36 minute track as well for all of you that are into shit like that haha.
